Your robot stopped.
We come out.

A serving robot that won't leave the dock, an arm throwing a joint error, a scrubber that stopped charging, a quadruped limping on one leg. We diagnose it, quote it, fix it, and tell you which part to keep on the shelf so it doesn't happen again.

Any make — we're not a dealerOn-site or bench repairWritten report on every job
Two ways in

On-site for the floor. Bench for the bench.

Commercial robots live in your building and can't leave it — we come to them. Desktop arms, consumer units and small platforms are usually faster and cheaper to fix on our bench.

ON-SITE DISPATCH

Commercial fleets, in your building

Delivery and serving robots, floor scrubbers and vacuums, security patrol units, mowers, AMRs and industrial arms — anything that is bolted down, too heavy to ship, or part of a running operation.

  • Engineer on site with a stocked field kit, not empty-handed
  • Diagnosis, calibration, module swap and re-test in one visit where parts allow
  • Re-map and re-commission if the building has changed around the robot
  • Written report: root cause, what was replaced, what to watch next
BENCH & MAIL-IN

Desktop, consumer and small platforms

Desktop and educational arms, robot vacuums and mowers, companion and quadruped units, capture rigs and grippers. Drop off in Metro Vancouver or ship it to us.

  • Flat diagnostic fee, credited against the repair if you go ahead
  • Photo of the fault and a quote before any billable work starts
  • Common repairs priced as flat jobs: battery, drive wheels, sensors, charging
  • We tell you honestly when a repair costs more than the unit is worth
How a job runs

From 'it stopped' to back in service.

Most of the delay in robot repair is not the wrench work — it's the back-and-forth before anyone shows up. We front-load that.

01

Report the fault

Model, serial, error code, and a short video of what it does. Ten minutes of detail now saves a wasted visit.

Same day
02

Remote triage

We check the fault against known failure modes for that family, confirm which parts a fix would need, and tell you if it's a firmware issue you can clear yourself for free.

Within 1 business day
03

Quote & schedule

Fixed diagnostic fee, hourly on-site rate and part prices, all quoted before we dispatch. No surprise invoices.

Before dispatch
04

Fix & verify

Repair, calibrate, and run the robot through its real route or duty cycle before we call it done.

On site
05

Report & stock advice

Root cause in writing, plus the two or three parts worth holding so the next failure is a ten-minute swap.

What we fix

By robot family.

Each family fails in its own way. This is the work we do most, and the parts that are usually behind it.

How we charge

Quoted before we start. Always.

We price service the way trades do, not the way software does. You see the structure here and the numbers in your quote.

Diagnostic fee$80 CAD

Flat, per unit. Credited in full against the repair if you approve the work. Remote triage that resolves the fault costs nothing.

Call-out fee$50 CAD

Per visit, anywhere in our core Metro Vancouver zone. One call-out covers every robot we look at on that visit.

On-site labour$80 CAD / hour

Charged from arrival, billed in 30-minute increments after the first hour.

PartsCatalogue price

Listed on the quote before installation. We'll fit customer-supplied parts too, with a shorter warranty on the labour.

After hoursQuoted per site

Evening, overnight and weekend rates for sites that can only be serviced when they're closed. Booked in advance.

Maintenance contractsFixed monthly or quarterly

Covers scheduled visits, consumables and priority dispatch. Contract customers don't pay call-out fees.

A typical first visit

Diagnostic $80 + call-out $50 + one hour on site $80 = $210 before parts and tax. Approve the repair and the $80 diagnostic comes back off, so the same visit lands at $130 plus parts.

Prices in Canadian dollars, before GST. Rates are confirmed in writing before any billable work begins. Outside the core Metro Vancouver zone we quote travel separately.

Preventive maintenance

Most breakdowns are a missed service.

Brushes wear out, filters clog, battery packs fade, wheels flat-spot. None of it is a surprise — it's a calendar. Our plans put that calendar on us.

PER VISIT

Call us when it breaks

No contract. You pay the diagnostic fee and the labour when something goes wrong.

  • Standard scheduling
  • Catalogue parts pricing
  • Written report on every job
SCHEDULED

Planned maintenance

Scheduled visits at an interval set by your duty cycle, with the consumables included in the fee.

  • Quarterly or monthly site visits
  • Consumables included and replaced on schedule
  • Priority scheduling ahead of non-contract jobs
  • Fleet health report each visit
FLEET

Managed fleet

For sites running several robots, or operators running several sites, where downtime has a number attached.

  • Agreed response targets in writing
  • On-site consignment of your critical spares
  • Named engineer who knows your building
  • Quarterly utilization and failure-trend review
The honest part

What we won't do.

Knowing where a service company stops is worth as much as knowing where it starts.

01

We don't touch elevator controllers

Elevator equipment is regulated. Licensed elevator mechanics do that work, with permits and inspection where the authority requires it. We own the robot side of the interface and test it floor by floor.

02

We don't void your warranty behind your back

If a repair means opening a sealed assembly on a unit still under manufacturer warranty, we tell you first and, where we can, get the maker's sign-off before we open it.

03

We don't guess on safety

Anything involving lifting equipment, high voltage, or a robot sharing space with the public gets a written risk assessment, not a shortcut.

04

We don't pretend to stock everything

Some core components have a real lead time. We'd rather give you an honest date and a workaround than a date we'll miss.

FAQ

Repair questions.

Do you work on brands you didn't sell?

That's most of our work. We are brand-agnostic and we don't sell robots, so there is no conflict of interest in telling you a unit isn't worth repairing.

How fast can you get to us?

It depends on the zone, the fault and whether the part is local. Response targets are something we put in writing for maintenance and fleet contracts; for one-off calls we'll give you a realistic date when we quote.

Can you fix it if the manufacturer is in China and won't answer?

Often, yes. Our engineers read the Chinese service documentation and talk to factory support during their working hours. Where a part is only available from the maker, we source and import it for you.

Do you repair consumer robot vacuums and mowers?

Yes, on the bench. For a low-value unit we'll tell you upfront if a repair makes economic sense.

Will you sell me the part so I can fix it myself?

Yes. Many of our customers' maintenance teams do their own swaps. The catalogue exists for exactly that, and we'll tell you which jobs are safe to do in-house.

Do you cover outside Metro Vancouver?

We travel for project work and for contract customers. Outside the core zone we quote travel separately — ask.

Tell us what it's doing.

Model, serial number, error code and a short video are enough for us to triage it. We reply within one business day.
